QA Engineer
Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a QA Engineer. This is a full-time position and remote position.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by providing input to project teams on testing strategy and requirements
- Create and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Record and document test results and compare to expected results
- Identify, log, and track defects in defect tracking system
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects and provide feedback to development teams
- Work with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in software testing
- Additional duties as assigned
